EDGUY (Ger) - Hellfire Club (2004)

Hellfire Club, lanzado el 6 de Abril del 2004, es el sexto álbum de la banda alemana de power metal Edguy. En constraste con sus álbumes previos, Hellfire Club debe su sonido más a Iron Maiden que a su principal influencia Helloween. La primera canción "Mysteria" abre con la introducción "Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome - to the Freak Show!" (¡Damas y Caballeros! - ¡Bienvenidos al show anormal!), seguida de un riff de guitarra que es insualmente heavy y dark para los estándares de Edguy. El resto del álbum sigue generalmente este esquema, con unas pocas excepciones:

"We Don't Need A Hero" es un tema muy rápido, de todas maneras algo muy típico de la banda. "King of Fools" fue el primer single que tuvo la oportunidad de aparecer en la televisión, en el German Pro7 McChart Show, pero fue duramente criticado. "Lavatory Love Machine" es otro de los varios temas con una temática de broma, que causó controversia, pero los fans de edguy lo toman como el típico y surreal humor de Sammet. "The Spirit Will Remain" es una balada operática. El bonus track "Children of Steel", era originalmente un demo lanzado en 1994, pero fue regrabado para este álbum. El bonus track de "Mysteria" es cantando por Mille Petrozza , vocalista de la banda de Thrash metal aleman Kreator.
