My Blackest Heart es lo ultimo que a publicado la banda japonesa Azrael, pues se trata de un EP lanzada en el 2005, manteniendo la linea de lo ya antes mencionado. De momento la banda ya no a tenido continuacion en un nuevo disco, ya que el vocalista Akira se concentra en la banda Prophesia.

TOKYO (JAPAN)

Azrael es una banda proveniente de Tokyo (Japon), y hacen un estilo Heavy Power Metal, una mezcla de rarezas, toques muy monotonos. Akira Ishihara ( vocalista ) y Takehito Yasuda (guitarrista) se conocieron en la Universidad de Kanagawa; Kanagawa es una prefectura localizada en Honshu, cuya capital es Yokohama. Tras recuperarse Yasuda de un accidente que le mantuvo en el hospital durante tres meses, la banda contactó con sus colegas Yutaka y Sigeru; Ryusuke Yasufuke completó la formación con la que en 1997 lanzaron, de forma independiente, su disco debut Run For The Night. Previamente, antes de adoptar el nombre de Azrael, el grupo se había dado a conocer realizando versiones de los alemanes Helloween. Con la compañía Highway Records lanzaron King Of the Steely Nation y Sunrise in Dreamland, respectivamente en 2000 y en 2003. En 2005 la banda autoeditó un EP llamado My Blackest Heart, que de momento no ha tenido continuación en un nuevo disco. Akira Ishihara se concentra, desde 2005, en la banda de power metal "Prophesia".
