Perpetual Flame es el ultimo disco de Yngwie Malmsteen hasta la fecha, maqueta numero 14 de larga duración, lanzado a la venta el presente 13 de Octubre del 2008 bajo el sello discografico propio del guitarrista "Rising Force Records". Este disco marcará el estreno de Tim Owens (Ex-JUDAS PRIEST e ICED EARTH) como vocalista en la banda de Malmsteen.

La producción de “Perpetual Flame” ha corrido a cargo de Roy Z, quien ya trabajó con bandas como BRUCE DICKINSON, HELLOWEEN o JUDAS PRIEST. Además de Malmsteen en las guitarras y el bajo, y de Owens en las voces, la formación se completa con Derek Sherinian en el teclado y Patrick Johanson en la batería.
