Virgin Steele es una banda ya veterana formada alla por 1981, en sus comienzas se dedicaban a tocar un estilo Hard Rock Heavy Metal, como lo es en este su primer disco debut de nombre homonimo, lanzado a la venta en Diciembre de 1982 de forma independiente. Luego mas tarde Virgin Steele, cambiaria en genero tocando luego un claro Heavy Power Metal.
